Making money?

So I'm looking into network business or reveral commerce or pro-sumerism or whatever you want to call it.
At first it looks like a bit of a pyramid scheme but then I looked a bit deeper and here are my thoughts.

What is the model used for a normal job? A triangle, with the boss on top, the managers below him and the employees filling out the bottom end where there is almost no money. Everyone scrambles to get just a little higher up the corporate "ladder" but no one wants to give up their spot because that means they would have to either go up or down and no body wants to go down. No body. So once the top rung is full they aren't planning on pulling anybody up to take their spot. What does a triangle look like? Oh yeah, a pyramid.

So I was reading and thinking and I swore that I am not going to have a normal job and I would work harder then everyone else if I never had to actually "work." And that's the trick of it isn't it? I'm a free spirit. Actually, not just talking about it but actually am and to do that requires money, a lot of it. So I need to find ways to make that money without putting in hours at a job. Not to mention a very important thing, when someone is losing at something do you ask them for advice? If someone has never won a rugby game but constantly talks about how good they are do you listen? No, of course not. The person obviously isn't doing what is needed to win. Maybe they aren't the worst, they aren't dead or in the hospital but they aren't winning and so they are a loser. There is no point in taking advice from losers. Shouldn't money be the same way? Doesn't it make sense to take advice from people who make $120,000+ a year without a normal job? And here's the big kicker, they want to teach me how to do it!

So this is why I'm thinking World Wide Group. It actually seems like they are genuine about wanting to help people succeed! And here's the thing about this program instead of a corporation, the better I do the better the person who got me in does. So they actually want me to succeed! If I make money, they make money, so it is in their best interest to help me do well. And that's why it's about people and what company is better than a company that is actually about people, and not only people but helping people achieve their dreams? Nothing! World Wide Group is Christian to boot, and not the standard Bible-thumpers or America is a Christian nation crap but the leaders are Christians who want to see other people achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives with their families. That's right, the companies number one goal is marriage and keeping families together.

Now the caution is it seems too good to be true. But I read something a while ago that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I used to be pretty bad with the ladies (or I thought I was. That's the funny thing about being the strong, silent, dark guy that all the girls like. You are strong, silent and dark because no one talks to you and your life is filled with pain. I have only just discovered I was the most popular and attractive guy in my high school.) However I am getting off topic. I used to be pretty bad so I went to a friend who always had girls on him and I asked him how he did it, if he could teach me, wing man for me, anything! All he said was if you want to learn how to pick up girls, google it and start reading. So I did and everything I read pointed to this one guy. Now he said lots of stuff I already knew and then he offered his book for $20. Why spend $20 on a book filled with things I already knew! Except he had said one thing that kept running around in my mind, he said, "If the information in this book gets you ONE date, will it have been worth it to you?" I answered "yes" to that question and I bought the book.

So I think about that now when looking at World Wide Group. I can always stop. I can always say I'm done, in fact I could always just use it for myself and the learning experience. But that's what it would be, an experience. Something I haven't done and why not take that chance? If it costs me a few hours work and a hundred bucks but I make one paycheck. I learn one thing about running a business. I make one new friend. Would it be worth it to me? My answer to that question is yes.

They say it will be hard but I can work hard. They say it's all about people, I love people. They say only true leader make the big dollars, I have always been a leader. I say I'm looking for a change and right when I started praying for guidance God put this in my lap. Is it too good to be true? I'll never know unless I try.

P.S.
The book actually did end up getting me one date.
